This is the art and science of ensuring projects and programmes meet their intended objectives. At CBI 360, we adopt a logical framework approach to project management. We do not manage projects on behalf of our clients but rather walk with them through the project implementation process while providing key insights and backstopping the entire process. We focus on three broad stages:
Project Planning and Appraisal
CBI 360 understands that development is deliberately caused to happen. This is done through well targeted and strategic interventions/projects that are designed to deal out a specific bottleneck or achieve a given objective. At this stage we partner with our clients to undertake project design, formulation, project feasibility, project sustainability analysis, project appraisal documents, baseline surveys, cost-benefit prioritization, project scooping among others.
Project Financing
This component is motivated by the fact that every individual, community, organization, business and government has a great idea. However, scarcity or lack of financing options is hindering realization of the idea. On the other hand, there are financiers looking for a great idea that they can be part of. The role of CBI 360 at project financing is partnering with clients to identify financing needs through needs assessment, packaging the needs into investment options and linkages to the right financiers. We provide transactional advisory services on the most suitable financing arrangement based on the nature of a particular project. We develop fundraising proposals, public private partnership frameworks, results for resource accounting frameworks.
Project Implementation and Evaluation
This is the stage at which plans and ideas are converted into reality. It entails execution of defined activities to achieve a set of outputs. It involves optimal utilization of every available resource and structuring out activities across the implementation duration. CBI 360 partners with its clients to develop project implementation manuals, project implementation plans, project activities, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, midterm evaluations, end term evaluation.
